Here she is! Miss Lindsey Paige!

Well, all went according to plan. Mommy was induced on the morning of Monday, January 18. At 1:49 p.m., Lindsey made her debut weighing 7 lbs. 12 oz. Labor was ridiculously easy - only one contraction and four pushes - which allowed Lindsey to keep a beautiful little round head.

Last weekend as a family of three

If all goes according to plan, this will be our last weekend as a family of three. As such, we wanted to be sure Ryebread had some quality time with mommy and daddy. What better way to spend it than at the Delaware Museum of Natural History! Ryan had a blast! He was a little scared by the life-sized bears and the under-floor aquarium had him slightly confused.

 

His favorite room was an exhibit about the super croc! There was a interactive podium that made different crocodile noises. Ryan thought that was really silly.

But what he didn't think was silly was the super croc, himself!!

All in all, though, it was a great family weekend trip.

Lindsey is almost here!

We are eagerly awaiting Lindsey's arrival. The finishing touches to her room have been completed. Nana was nice enough to come down and paint a tree on the wall (the only coloring on the walls we'll allow, thank you very much!). Mommy added butterfly and flower decals that match her bedding and we even got hand-painted custom letters to spell out her name! Now all we need is a precious baby girl to complete the picture.

Who me?

There will be many times in Ryebread's life when he will utter the words, "Who me?!" And accompanying those words will be a face similar to this one.
