It's Sunny 300 Days A Year

Where, you might ask? In Arizona. Arizona is sunny almost all year long. Except, of course, when the guy in Arizona invites the girl in Delaware out to visit. To get away from the never-ending snow storms, the crazy kids, the job - all of it - and join him in the sunny desert for a few days, with plans to tour the Grand Canyon together.

Then, of course, the sun disappears and in its place comes precipitation. Mostly in the form of cold rain, but, for good measure (in case she was homesick, perhaps), also in the form of snow. Just enough to make her feel at home and completely screw up their plans to see the Grand Canyon.

We could get mad, or annoyed or sad that our plans were foiled. Or, we could enjoy the fact that not everyone gets to see snow-covered cactus or get their picture taken in front of the Chapel of the Holy Cross in the middle of a snow squall.

Lucky us.
